Christmas for Kids
is a community project where people bring
new gifts for kids, ages from birth through 17 that
are involved with Children’s Protective Services. We ask folks
to bring their, toys, clothing, electronics, etc to any Lubbock McDonald’s,
except those in Wal Mart, and the ‘giver’ will receive
a free Coke as a token of thanks. Gifts can be taken into the store
or dropped off through the drive-thru. |

Kids-4-Kids Holiday Toy Drive
Mr. Gatti's is partnering with Girl Scouts to collect 2000 toys
for CASA kids. We are promoting the spirit of the holiday season
by encouraging kids to donate toys for less
fortunate kids. Mr. Gatti's (5001 50th Street) will
accept new unwrapped toys in original packaging between 11 am -
9 pm daily. Every child who donates a new toy ($10 value) will receive
10 tokens on that visit. KB Toys is giving 10% off toy purchases
for CASA. |

Abuelo's
Toys for Tots Toy Drive
Now through December 18th if you bring in a new, unwrapped toy to
Abuelo’s Mexican Food Embassy Restaurant, located at 82nd
and Quaker, you will receive a free chile con queso appetizer as
a special thank you. Toys are being collected for the U.S. Marine
Corps Reserves Toys for Tots toy drive. |

"We Care" Holiday Gift Drive
You can show that you care for the children at Buckner's
Children and Family Services by donating toys,
gift cards, games and more. We can provide you with
ideas (if needed) for a particular age group. Call Carpet Tech today
at 795-5142 or 888-343-9650 to make arrangements for us to pick up
your gift.

Lubbock City Museums Are Toys for Tots Drop-Off Locations
The Lubbock
City Museums are proud to announce their participation in the United
States Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots toy drive this holiday
season. The Buddy Holly Center and the Silent Wings Museum will be
accepting toy donations to benefit local children from November 22
- December 21, 2006. Guests who bring a new toy for donation will
receive one free admission for each toy they bring at that drop-off
location. |
