Lubbock Symphony Showcases a Juilliard Winner and Director Candidate
Winner of the 1995 piano concerto at Juilliard, and one of today's most compelling young artists, the Masterworks #1 concert is this weekend, September 23 & 24 at 8 p.m. at the Civic Center Theater. Tickets are still available.

"PEDDLER SHOW" is this weekend.
They've refocused and are now the Perfect Street of Shops with fashions, stylish furnishings, jewelry, tasty treats and so much more. The Fall show tends to be the bigger one and it's THIS weekend, September 23 - 25. Plan to stop by and see us on your way in to shopping delights. NEW SHOW HOURS: Friday 3 pm – 8 pm; Saturday 9 am – 6 pm; Sunday 11 am – 4 pm. ADMISSION: $5 Adults, $3 Seniors 65+, Children under 12 Free, One Admission Good All Weekend

The Bride is my niece and she got married this weekend in San Francisco where she is attending Cirque Clown Training. She wore a wedding dress and vale. The Groom wore tails. They were married by a minister. But everything else you just HAVE TO SEE! ... more>>

Agency Partners of the Volunteer Center are being asked to clearly communicate needs for volunteers where people can be plugged in on MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY coming up on October 22. If your church, club, or nonprofit agency has needs of this kind, contact the Volunteer Center. This is also the agency that puts together the Holiday Volunteer Guide. The Lubbock Fun Club is happy to be cosponsoring these events with the Volunteer Center in hopes we can all make a difference in some way.
