SHOP TO GIVE - Have you heard? More than 100 businesses on 34th Street have joined together to create a neat shopping event called SHOP TO GIVE. The SHOP to GIVE event is this week, Thursday, July 28th through Saturday, July 30th, and a portion of sales from participating businesses [look for posters with logo] goes to these local charities: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Children's Home of Lubbock, Lubbock Habitat for Humanity, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics Lubbock, YWCA Lubbock.

FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL IS THIS SATURDAY at the Civic Center!!!

Kid's Pageant, Diaper Derby races, Vote for Beautiful Babies, Lubbock Boating Display with a surprise visitor from the North Pole!, Pony Rides, Free Face Painting, Lubbock Cotton Kings, Honda Rider Safety, Home Depot Kids Center, Entertainment from Ballet Folklorico, Cactus Cuties, Texas Tech football players & autographs, Sang Kim's Tai Kwon Doe National Team, Booths and Interesting Information, Opening of the Maze, City of Lubbock Free Immunizations, and just tons of good clean fun! A great day for families. Lubbock Civic Center 9am-4pm.
