A new television, Good Business with Charlie Whisner, encourages owners of local businesses to speak up! The program airs 16 times a week in full (see side column for show times) with segments daily on KLBK. The program showcases local businesses and gives them the chance - literally - to speak for themselves and give us an inside look. more>>

Share your beautiful photo
Do you have a neat photograph taken in one of Lubbock's parks. a photograph of your child hitting a home run or one of our incredible sunsets or your family celebrating on the 4th of July? Then we are looking for you!
Start taking photos now ... encourage your children to take some photographs and enter and plan on putting a photo or two in the 2nd Annual Photography Competition and Exhibition cosponsored by the Lubbock Parks and Recreation and the Lubbock Fun Club. June 29 - Children's Theatre in the Park: "Once Upon A Time" at Rawlings Park-40th & Avenue B. In this adventure, which is a parody on all fairy tales, there are familiar characters such as a wicked step-mama, a giant, a fairy god-mama, a lovely young girl and a handsome boy. There are exciting difficulties to overcome and amusing antics to go through before the story is solved but it is all equally entertaining for both children and adults alike. more>>
