June 26 - Butterflies of the Llano Estacado is the program for the June Meeting of the Llano Estacado Audubon Society. This program will be presented by Anthony Hewetson at the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center at 4215 University Ave. It begins at 7pm and everyone is welcome.

June 26 - SOS SINGLES go to Putt Putt Fun Together
Join us next Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Putt Putt, 5110 – 29th Dr. The group cost is: $3.99 per person for first round of golf. The second game would be an additional $1. His consummate artistry has been widely recognized by such diverse talents as Willie Nelson, Joe Henderson, Eric Johnson, Phil Woods, Billy Gibbons, and Lyle Lovett. Tony is the feature of the Jazz Festival next week. (See story below).

June 26 - “Glimmer of Night and Day” 24th Annual Summer Jazz Festival Concert featuring Tony Campise, jazz saxophonist. Alan Shin directs and Texas Tech student Melissa Worthy supplies the vocals. Admission is free. 7:30 p.m. at Allen Theater on Texas Tech campus.

The Power of Love: Living a Life of Love, Happiness and Dreams-come-true. Paula Chanda began her love for theatre as a child performer herself. She had an agent in Dallas and toured professionally in "The Sound of Music" and was part of a nationwide casting search for the movie "Annie." Starting a Performing Arts School is the fulfillment of a life long dream. She will talk about surviving divorce, having a passion and turning it into a business and the overall impact that love has on our lives when we just let it. Click here for more.
