The Texas Outdoor Adventure Show

What is it? It's a trade show, plus exhibits, plus activities, entertainment, informative programs and fun walking around the exhibit hall looking.
What are the highlights? Fly Casting and Tying Demonstrations by Mountain Hideway (this is amazing for anyone to see). And on SUNDAY ... at 2:00 ... the SP Wildlife Rehab Center has their Live Bird & Animal Presentation. It is really great and worth a trip out there just for this!

Attention Family Men ...
Lest you ever think the FUN CLUB is just for women ... not true! All of us want to know about things happening in our city. However, we have an abundance of women related things so it may seem "woman slanted" from time to time.

We are looking for a few good men who will help us know what is appealing to you all. There is so much more and we want to find it. But we need your insights. Tell us ... what would you like to know more about? And do these sound interesting to you? Boat races, nature walks, running, sporting events, things you can do with your kids, fishing, and what else? Are we on the right track? Click here to tell us.

Knitting is COOL and
it's making a come-back!

Lots of hip chicks all over the US are coming back to the knack and joy of knitting. We're coordinating classes at FauxReal for LEARNING TO KNIT ... the basics ... and then a KNITTING ROUND ... which is sessions of people knitting together so they can help each other perfect the skill. Click here for knitting schedule as well as other classes.
