Friday night: Wishing Bowl
I love the idea of this event. You pay $25, get a piece of original artwork that is your bowl to keep (you select which one you want), and meander through some of Lubbock's best chefs' soups and enjoy the occasion. Saturday morning jazz - THIS Saturday - 9:00 to 11:00
I'm not a big morning person but 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. seems reasonable for a good cup of coffee (or chai) and THOSE SKONES!!! at Sugar Brown's. Plus, they have Saturday morning jazz which is an unusual time for music but seems a nice way to start a Saturday. I'll be there at 9:00 and then will sneak away for a short meeting and back for more jazz! Click here to see what their music sounds like.

FauxReal Art & Design Studio - 12:00 to 5:00
I'm going to be at FauxReal on Saturday making fun heart pens (great for teacher gifts) and MOVIE CARD notebooks and just hanging out and helping people find or make cool Valentine's gifts. Click here for directions.

3rd Annual Chili Festival
All of the Kiwanis Clubs in our area have an annual CHILI FESTIVAL. This year it's at St. John's United Methodist Church (15th & University) from 10:30 to 5:00. $5 for all the chili you care to eat. $5 raffle for tickets on SW Air, Tech Game tickets and sports equipment.

It is a quality consignment sales event featuring very nice "gently used" children's clothing - Newborn to 12 years old, maternity wear, shoes, baby equipment, feeding/diapering supplies, nursery furniture and decor, outdoor playground equipment, books, videos, toys and more.
Start getting ready if you want to be a consignor. Consignors keep at least 65% on final selling price so start looking now at what you might have.
