An encouraging word for the New Year!

If a bird who could fly ...
only wished for flight as it sat on a limb ... before long it would be unable to fly.

How many dreams do you have sitting on a limb .... wishing to fly? Well, this could be your year! Sometimes it's hard to "steer" an idea that just sits "parked". It may be necessary to pull out of the driveway and head in a direction to be able to be guided to the resources that are just around the corner. 2007 is a good year to FLY!

Paper Cuts: The Art Of Contemporary Paper
Through January 20, 2007
The Buddy Holly Center is thrilled to present the unique biennial exhibit Crafts, Etc. - Paper Cuts: The Art of Contemporary Paper, on view December 19, 2006 through January 20, 2007. Paper Cuts explores the nature of paper, a material that we often take for granted. Paper is transient and enduring, delicate and strong; it can act as a filter or as a barrier. There is virtually no limit to what paper can do and how it can be manipulated. December 19, 2006 – January 20, 2007, the Buddy Holly Center will celebrate the art of contemporary paper.
