Margaritaville - Party Time!
You can absolutely bring your kids to this party and your friends too. It's outside, plenty of room to spread out, hula contests, tiki shop, lost shaker of salt, and all the fun begins at 5:00 this Saturday at the first Annual Margaritaville, Texas! The Lonesharks are a fun, Florida band who has played with Jimmy Buffett.

Ballroom Dance Party
Saturday, August 26, 7 to 12 p.m. midnight
Beginners or advanced dancers come share the fun at the Civic Center. Enjoy and evening of ballroom dancing in a smoke free (alcohol free) environment. The group lesson is at 7:30 and costs $5. The social dancing is from 8:30 to 12 midnight at cost is $8 or $15 per couple. They will be serving hoursedouvr'e and refreshments. Attire is After Five. RSVP Laura Booe at 798-3061

Learn how to ROCK and ROLL this weekend!
Make a Garden Stone workshop is this Saturday at the Buddy Holly Center. Using a little plaster and pieces of the changing season, participants will make permanent garden stones with imprints of leaves, acorns, and sticks or participants can choose to bring materials from home. This Saturday, 1 to 3:00 p.m., $10, ages 6 & up. Click here for more information.

Make a Groovy Black and White Bead Bracelet
First we make the black and white beads out of different neat patterns we learn how to make from polymer clay canes. Then we create a neat wrap bracelet to wear! Bracelet workshop is Saturday from 10 to 12 at FauxReal Art & Design Studio. cost $15, adults and kids (with their parent). Click here for more information.
