Finally ... a gift every Father will love!
Help us create a cool new tradition for Father's Day! Mothers get flowers. Valentines get candy. But what do Fathers get? The Lubbock Fun Club is proud to promote our wonderful Lubbock Community Theater. Lubbock has an excellent community theater and the brand new LHUCA theater is classy, cool, and perfect for an experience with the theater. SO ... WHERE AM I ... and who won?
I am standing beside a building on the North East corner of 19th Street and Upland, just a mile west of Loop 289. Just to set the record straight, it is NOT the new office of Lubbock Fun Club. So what is it? Glad you asked ... but FIRST, who won? Emily won. The first 20 right answers were put in a basket and Emily was the lucky winner. Her Xanadoo Fun Pack is waiting for her at the new Xanadoo store on 82nd, just west of Frankford.

So ... what IS in that building?
It's a new store, art gallery, workspace for arts, place to take classes, and hair salon called FauxReal Art & Design Studio. It's a place where you can take classes for things like making jewelry, stained glass, mosaics, and a zillion other groovy projects. You can come see original artwork and enjoy the small Gallery. You can shop. You can have a birthday party (for kids or adults). You can plan a private "Girls Night Out!". Or you can get your hair done ... or all of the above. Plan now to attend our GRAND OPENING next Friday, June 2. We'll be open from 10:00 to 6:00 that day ... and continue to stay open for our GRAND OPENING EVENT from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. as a participant in Lubbock's First Friday Art Trail that evening featuring amazing art and live music.
