Sunday is Lubbock Fun Club Day at Cotton Kings Hockey! Fun Club Members get $6 tickets (more than half price!) but you have to get them at the Cotton Kings ticket office (not at the game) so call and make arrangements for your tickets. The Lubbock Fun Club will also have the intermission game that night so come and let us know if your family might be interested in playing in our game. more>>

Lubbock Model Railroad Association Annual Playday - November 5 - 8:00am – 6:00pm at Highland Baptist Church Activity Center 4615 34th St. (34th & Quaker Ave. South side of 34th St.) Admission: Adults $1.00 Kids 12 & under free w/paid adult. Come and enjoy model trains running and great fellowship. Most scales of trains will be there. A layout for kids to experience the fun of running trains will be included.

Sunday, November 6 – A concert on the newly renovated carillon featuring C. Roy Wilson, Carilloneur, at the West Bell Tower of the Administration Building at Texas Tech. Concert is at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs! This is a presentation of the College of Visual and Performing Arts and the School of Music.

November 12 - Holiday Portrait Opportunity
C. Gage Photography will be at FRAME PRO (50th street location) taking holiday photos on November 12th by appointment starting at 9:00am. "Gift Baskets and Entertaining for the Holidays" A program with Market Street concierge Stephanie McKee at Godeke Branch Library, 6601 Quaker on Tuesday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. The program will include a drawing for a gift basket. November 7- Jazz Ensemble I features Count Basie's discovery Carmen Bradford, jazz vocalist, at Hemmle Hall. Bradford was discovered by legendary Count Basie and sung with Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, Herbie Hancock and many more plus appeared on the Johnny Carson show. 8:00 p.m. Admission is free
