Pre-Sale Ticket Opportunity for Celebrity Attractions' presentation of "Beauty and the Beast".....

The national tour of Disney’s "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" will perform at the City Bank Auditorium as part of the 2010-2011 Broadway Season on February 25th and 26th with nightly performances at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday plus a 2 pm Saturday matinee. Lubbock Fun Club subscribers have a chance to purchase tickets before the general public.

If you take advantage of this special pre-sale ordering opportunity....remember....the password is DISNEY...and it must be used to buy these tickets during the pre-sale period..

January 27 – 29….Mid-Winter Championship Bull Riding -
Come see some of the best calf-roping, barrels, team roping and more right here in Lubbock....at the oldest event of its kind in the nation featuring the top riders in their class. anuary 27 – 30….DanceTech: Artistry in Motion
– Come and enjoy an exciting evening of original jazz, modern, ballet, and hip-hop choreography created by Texas Tech University Dance faculty, undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Theatre and Dance, and guest artists. Tickets are $12 for individuals; $5 for students with a valid ID. Free tickets are available for Texas Tech students. Maedgen Mainstage Theatre, (east side of the Charles E. Maedgen, Jr. Theatre on 18th Street between Boston and Flint Avenues); 8 p.m. except on Sundays at 2 p.m.


January 28 ….'60s/'70s’ Nostalgia Nite From rhythm and blues to disco, walk down memory lane with the great hits of the Beatles, the Eagles, Jackson 5, Donna Summer, Brenda Lee, Wilson Pickett and more. January 28 and 29....Monster Truck Show - Monster X is coming to town and will feature two shows. There are three price ranges. Price level I: VIP seating is $29 for everyone. Price Level II: General admission tickets are $22.75 for the general public and $15.75 for children between ages 3 and 12. Price level III: General admission tickets are $19.75 for the general public and $13.5.75 for children between ages 3 and 12. (All prices include varied service charges). January 29….Rain Barrel Workshop - Have you made a New Year’s resolution to "go green", save money on gardening, expand your horizons, or even just to have more fun this year? The Make-and-Take Rain Barrel Workshops will help you to make your resolution a reality! Call 790-3921 or email jennifer.simek@ttu.edu by this Friday at noon to sign up for this event. The workshop fee is $30 for Arboretum members and $50 for non-members. This fee covers the cost of your supplies, and you will leave with your barrel ready to install at your home. January 29....The Flatlanders in Concert
Texas recording act The Flatlanders will perform an acoustic concert at the Cactus Theater. The Flatlanders are friends and fellow recording artists Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock. January 30…. TTU School of Music and The College of Visual & Performing Arts Celtic Ensemble Winter Concert
- Singers and players will perform dances, songs, listening pieces, and tunes associated with the Celtic experience around the watery globe and across the centuries. Students, families, and seniors are especially welcome. Featured special guests are the Tech Irish Set-Dancers and Caprock Border Morris Dance Side. Admission is free. The Legacy, 14th Street & O Avenue; 7 p.m.

January 30…Jason Aldean in Concert - This rising country-rocker has spent more weeks at number one on the charts than any other country artist in the last 12 months.
