and begin cooking our meals we will take home for later. Supper
Supers has gone before us, done the shopping, the chopping, and
the preparation so it's as easy as 1,2,3. Plus, it's a lot more
fun with others. Call Super Suppers at 794-2300 and tell them
you want to be in our party on March 6. They will tell you what
to do from there. They are located just west of Frankford on 82nd.
Plan now to join us.

A Pay
it Forward story!
A true story submitted
by one of us
I got stranded at the International Airport in
Houston a year ago. What
had started out as a one day trip, quickly dragged into two days.
I was
out of money, out of my diabetic medication, and had no family
or friends
to call for rescue. Stranded along with me was a Hispanic couple
from
Levelland whom I had never met until this incident. I was at yet
another
gate trying to get on the standby list and saw the Levelland gentleman
approaching me with a big grin on his face. He happily explained
that he
and his wife had cashed in their tickets and had bought new tickets
on
Southwest Airlines and would be flying out in a couple of hours.
He said
they wanted me to come with them. I sighed heavily and explained
to him
that my tickets were not refundable and I would not be able to
go with
them. He said, "You don't understand. Your ticket has already
been
purchased on Southwest. We cannot leave you here alone with no
money and
no medication." I told him I could not accept the ticket
since I had no
means of repaying him. He said that repayment wasn't necessary.
I burst
into tears at their kindness and generosity. Of course, I managed
to pay
them back, but what a testament of West Texas kindness and generosity!!
