The exhibit covers handbags from 1880 to the present including funky, elegant, and whimsical bags, featured alongside those made from precious metal, duct tape, cigarette packaging, and glass beads. OPEN HOUSE
and Play Time!
This Friday from
5:00 to 11:00 p.m.

at FauxReal
Ever since we began playing with playdough in school, there has been something cool about squishy clay and shaping it into neat little things. This has been taken to a funny extreme as FauxReal Artists have created a display of Funky Fish Condos. It's like EXTREME MAKEOVER for a fish bowl ... and to look at the fish condos is to get a bit tickled. Whether it's the ROSE BOWL (pictured above) or the 50's diner (not pictured -- you HAVE to come see it!) ... these houses bring delight. When you arrive, if you would like to make something -- either a piece of Funky Fish Furniture or maybe a snowman for holiday decor, we will have the supplies out and the guides ready to help. Cost for workshop: $5 and can take as little as 15 to 30 minutes (depending on you). Then you can enjoy the rest of the art while we "bake it" for you. Come see! For directions to FauxReal, click here. Delight yourself. Make a memory this Friday.

ATTENTION SINGLES ... Dinner Tonight!
Our monthly dinner night out is tonight ... first Thursday night, November 2 at Harrigans at 7:00 pm. No need to call ahead, speak to anyone, or let anyone know you're coming. Just GO! And the hostess will know where our group is! It's fun. The people are amazingly nice. It's easy and the dinner will be great.

If you haven't been to the Maize yet ... don't let the weeks slip by!
There are only THREE WEEKS LEFT of this year's season to enjoy this A-MAIZING place! They are open until Thanksgiving ... but don't wait.
It's so wonderful to hear the laughter of kids running around and enjoying the hay rides, the cow train, the corn cannon ... and then everyone doing something together like walking through the maize. After (or before) be sure to take in the petting zoo and see the Momma donkey and her little one ... and the other animals. It's great for pumpkin picking too. And they have a BBQ stand on the weekends too if you go at that time.
