Happy 4th of July!
Whether you attend a parade, watch fireworks, go to the concert, or stay at home and have a back yard bbq, we wish you a safe, happy, and good day full of celebration. Did you know that Texas Water Rampage put in a new filtration system on their water and it's not only cool and refreshing but clean, clean, clean! Make a memory with your kids this summer -- better yet, this weekend -- and go jump in the water together at Texas Water Rampage.

Celebrate Freedom! Workshop July 1 at Silent Wings Museum!
Bring the family to the Museum on July 1st to help us honor Independence Day with an afternoon filled with crafts showcasing the red, white and blue. Hands-on crafts will include windsocks, red white and blue friendship bracelets, patriotic pinwheels and much more. FREE!

First Friday Art Trail will be on Friday, July 7
First Friday Art Trail is a collective effort throughout Lubbock to encourage people to GET OUT and explore and enjoy the arts. There are several locations -- galleries and stores -- that have an open house the First Friday of every month - inviting you to come enjoy! Most are open from 6 to 9.

A neat new way to celebrate pregnancy!
Lubbock is one of only five cities in Texas to get a Stork Vision - a Prenatal Imagining Center that offers advanced 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging of your baby. If you know someone who is pregnant or someone who is planning a baby shower ... take a look! It's really cool. Click here to visit their site.

July 2 - Bring lawn chairs and enjoy concert featuring the 3 ½ octave sounds of our renovated Baird Memorial Carillon.

July 2 - Sunday Concert in the Park Westwind Brass Band 8:00 pm Wagner Park Free!

July 3 - Fireworks at Buffalo Springs Lake.

July 4 - 4th on Broadway Evening Concert and Fireworks at MacKenzie Park East Broadway entrance

July 6 - Skyview Dinner Series features French cuisine
