March 24....Encore...with a Twist! Tribute to The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers & Fleetwood Mac -
After our recent two separate classic rock shows that featured some of the greatest arena rock groups of all time, the requests came in for a repeat show. So, we've combined music from those two nights to present an encore with a twist.
Join many of your favorite Cactus vocalists for a very special evening as we celebrate the enduring power of The Eagles - a group which transcended rock, pop and country to become arguably the most popular American music group in history with such songs as "Peaceful Easy Feeling", "Desperado" and, of course, "Hotel California". We'll take a trip down south to "China Grove" as we "Listen to the Music" of the Doobie Brothers. Finally, we'll cap the salute with songs from the supergroup Fleetwood Mac on such songs as "Dreams", "Gypsy", "The Chain" and more. Don't miss this amazing night of music as we revisit these three great superstar bands! Tickets only $20 for reserved floor seats; $15 for standard balcony. Box office open daily 3:00-5:30 pm or call (806) 762-3233 or order online at cactustheater.com. Cactus Theater, 1812 Buddy Holly Avenue: 7:30 p.m.

Among the subplots are Stanley Bumiller's attempts to walk the straight and narrow after a stint in reform school, Bertha Bumiller's trying to hold her family together, and the Smut Snatchers of the New Order's attempts to censor books (including the dictionary) at the local library.
