Lewis and directed by Zachery Kocurek, this new dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. Celebrating 8 Years Hosting LFC
Looking back at great times...exciting times ahead!

It was exactly 8 years ago today that we took the reins of the Lubbock Fun Club from original founder Sandy Parker...and what great times we've had producing this postcard for our readers each week. We've tried to inform the public about the immeasurable qualities that our fair city contains...promote worthy causes and events...and generally help connect people and the community at large. We hope we've served our members well and brought some happiness into your lives along the way. Though we call it a "club"...we're really open to all who simply want to seek out the "good stuff" in our city and the region as a whole.

Thanks to all of you "out there" who read this publication each week and use it to plan your weekends and fill your social calendars. We thank all of our contributors and advertisers who make it possible to bring this to you each week. By our count, we've produced over 400 weekly postcards during the period August 2007 through the present. It's truly been a labor of love and we want to simply celebrate this milestone with you and say that we're excited about the future. To that end, we have some great news to share with you all very soon...so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading and sharing in the adventure!
