April 1, 2 & 3 - Texas Café: Final Weekend Jam! This long time local venue for regional musicians will be closing its doors for good. The Texas Belaires and the Klifnotes are scheduled to perform Fri. and Sat. and the weekly Sunday Jam will be the last music played at the establishment. Thanks, Texas Cafe for the legendary music through the years!

April 2 to 24 - 2005 Symphony Designer Showcase Home Come see this $750,000 home built by Jeff Seal as a fundraiser to support the LSO. Located at 4109 103rd Street, Villa Di Sinfonia as it will be known, contains 4,750 square feet of floor space in two stories. Designer Cynthia Leftwich is working with the Guild to decorate 17 rooms. Tours and special events will be held at the home to help raise money for LSO. Plan on attending at least one, or all, of the unique and exciting shows!

April 9 - Apple Blossom Festival & Hot Air Balloons Welcome spring to the South Plains under a blanket of beautiful blossoms at the Apple Orchard! Fresh apple pancakes and sausage will be available all day along with hayrides through the orchard. Come early to watch the hot air balloons of the Southwest Regional Balloon Club doing a fly in and meet the members. A $4 donation is requested for the breakfast with proceeds going to Meals on Wheels the Orchard will also be accepting canned goods for the South Plains Food Bank. Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
